Rajiv Sethu bags second position in a closely contested Supersport 165cc Race 1 of Round 4 National Motorcycle Racing Championship

Honda rider Rajiv Sethu maintained his lead in the Super Sports 165cc category on Day 1 at the Round 4 of the MRF MMSC FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship as he secured the second position in Race 1

 

Super Sports 165cc (Race 1)

 

The 18-year old Honda rider Rajiv Sethu secured second  place by clocking 10:18:134 minutes in the Race 1 of Super sport 165ccNational Championship, a difference of just .03 seconds. With this, Rajiv, who has secured podium in all the previous races, continues to lead the scoreboard with 123 points. Team mate Mathana Kumar S finished fifth clocking 11:25:135 minutes.

 

Honda One Make Championship

 

Honda One Make Race 150RNovice (Race 1)

 

Leading from pole position to the chequered flag, Amala Jeralda, from Chennai, secured first position in Race 1 of Honda One Make Race 150 Novice Championship. Amala clocked 10:15:838 minutes. Balaji G from Chennai finished the race at second place by clocking 10:17:292 minutes, closely followed by Satya Narayan Raju from Hyderabad at third place who clocked 10:18:948 minutes.

 

 

 

Honda All Ladies Race

 

Dominating the Honda All Ladies Race, Kalyani Potekar from Bhopal took the first position in the Race 1 by clocking an impressive 10:41:311 minutes. Deepika Rajeshwari (2nd) from Chennai and Elakiya R (3rd) from Chennai fought a close battle to grab podium places, clocking 11:26:476 and 11:26:887 minutes respectively.

 

 

 

Congratulating the winners, Mr. Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice President, Customer Service, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), said, “Honda riders have been very consistent with their stellar performances and it is exciting to see such intense races with close finishes. The international exposure gained through Asia Road Racing Championship is giving Rajiv an upper hand in this year’s Championship. I am confident that our Honda riders will keep this momentum and maintain their lead in the points table.
