With the launch of the new Accord Hybrid, Honda is further upping the ante with their premium luxury sedan offering. This 9th generation Accord is being brought into India as a CBU import, and will cost Rs 37 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Accord sports very distinctive styling – something that is sure be its USP in this segment. A thick chrome bar adorns the grille, flanked by massive LED headlamps, and elongated tail lamps at the rear. On the features front, the Accord gets lane watch assist, airbags, ABS and traction control; also frequency selective dampers, remote start, pre-heating and pre-cooling options for the interiors, dual-zone automatic climate control and a sunroof, among other features.
Under the bonnet resides a 143hp 2.0-litre i-VTEC Atkinson cycle petrol motor, while two additional electric motors work to deliver a total output of 215hp.
