Face-lifted Mercedes-AMG CLA and GLA launched in India

Mercedes-AMG have launched face-lifted versions of their GLA 45 and CLA 45, at Rs 77.85 lakh and Rs 75.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). However, the Aero Edition models will cost a bit more.

Both cars get revised front and rear bumpers, new front and rear diffusers, LED headlamps and a few other bits on the CLA 45, while the GLA 45 boasts of a boot-mounted spoiler. New 18-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels are found on both cars.

The Aero editions come with a higher level of customisation. Blacked-out wheels, sporty yellow decals and a black finish are part of the package. The Yellow Night edition sports these features. Other features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera and a new instrument cluster, special edition badges inside the cabin and yellow lining for the seats.

Both cars are powered by the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol motor that makes 381hp and 475Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels (Mercedes’ 4Matic system) via a 7-speed, dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
