Audi’s slightly more bonkers variant of the RS7: the Performance, has been launched here in India at Rs 1.60 crore(ex-showroom, Delhi).
On the outside, the car remains absolutely the same except for the blacked-out head-and tail lamps and the large 21-inch alloys, although under the hood lies a slightly more powerful uprated version of the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that now makes 605hp and 750Nm of torque. The transmission remains the same 8-speed torque-converter automatic with Quattro AWD as well. The RS7 Performance can manage the 0-100 dash in just 3.7 seconds.
The interiors get quite a few updates that include RS sports seats in Valcona leather, a Drive Select Toggle button that allows you to switch between Comfort, Auto and Dynamic, new paddle-shifters, aluminium touches and a piano-black glossy finish, with a hint of carbon-fibre as well.
